For Parents
We are so excited to be invited into your teenager’s class to provide workshops that encourage smart, brave, and healthy decision-making. Our program equips students with tools to navigate life’s choices and avoid risks, develop healthy relationship skills, and ultimately reach their goals.
As parents ourselves, we know how imperative it is for you to know what your child is being taught!
We use, and are certified by, a national curriculum called REAL Essentials – Relationship Education And Leadership.
This peer-reviewed program is evidenced-based, medically accurate, age-appropriate, and inclusive, as it recognizes every student has value. It is utilized nationwide and meets many Pennsylvania State Standards in health education.
Our dynamic and fun workshops include a wide variety of topics that foster relationship health:
- Self-Discovery
- Understanding differences in others
- Effective communication and conflict resolution
- Decision making skills
- Navigating and setting healthy boundaries
- Strategies for overcoming peer pressure
- Relationship red flags
- Making decisions about sexual health
Attend one of our Parent Workshops to find out! At our workshop, we’ll highlight an actual student lesson and allow time for you to ask questions and get the answers you need.
Our parent workshops are offered regularly and coincide with student classroom workshops. We value engaged parents and would welcome any questions you may have!
